Q: Where is your bakery located?

​

A: We do not have a retail location that is open to the public. All of our products are produced in a commercial kitchen by Chef's that are ServSafe Certified. In order to keep costs down and pass the savings on to you, we only offer online sales. When you place your order online, we will ship your order direct to your door. If you live locally, we will be glad to deliver your order. (See question number 2 below for more details.)

Q: Do you offer delivery?

A: Yes, we offer limited local delivery within a 15-mile radius of our corporate address:

There is a minimum order of $10 and we charge a modest delivery fee of $5 for addresses within a 15 mile radius of our corporate address. For deliveries up to 30 miles there is a $10 charge. Call us to schedule local delivery of your orders at (404) 923-0593.

A: All of our treats are produced in facilities that utilize peanuts, tree nuts, gluten, and dairy products.

A: At Black Dog Sweet Shop, customer satisfaction is guaranteed - from product freshness to our customer's privacy. To better protect your privacy, below you will find the details explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.

Q: How did you get started in this business?

​

A: I have been in the restaurant industry for over twenty years and was most recently a partner in a local catering company. For the past three years I have been the Culinary Manager at a cafe here in Atlanta that is known for its cheesecakes and torts.

Product Quality & Returns

Q: What is your return policy?

​

A: Sometimes issues do come up and we hope to resolve them in a positive manner. If we cause a problem with your order, we will do everything we can to correct the issue. This includes begging for forgiveness and doing our best to exceed your expectations in fixing a problem caused by us. We are all human and everyone occasionally drops the ball.

 

If you made a mistake and provided an incomplete or incorrect shipping address during your order process, please contact us at 404-923-0593. We can always fix labels before 5:00 pm on the day your shipment is prepared. Once shipments leave the bakery, it is difficult to resolve problems and additional charges could apply. When an address error occurs, we will gladly split the cost of replacing the item with you. Unfortunately, we can't refund the original shipping costs, and you must pay for the additional new shipping charges.

 

Everyone's tastes are different, and while it is rare, occasionally the product you ordered just wasn't what you were expecting. We do apologize, but cannot issue refunds. Due to FDA regulations with regards to food items, we cannot accept returns of products once they have left our bakery.

Do you guarantee the quality of your product?

​

Since we first opened Black Dog Sweet Shop, our goal has been to create the best-tasting high quality treats with that made "AT HOME" flavor. This means that we carefully source every ingredient, from the finest cake flour to imported Swiss chocolate. Each gourmet treat is baked in small batches and packed by hand to ensure it arrives at your location in perfect condition

Every purchase is backed by our unconditional guarantee: We're obsessed with your Black Dog Sweet Shop Experience. If you ever think it fell short of exceptional, even a little bit, please tell us. We'll make it right. We promise.
