Lyla's Love (Guatemala La Esperanza)
Our love for Guatemalan coffee led us to San Carlos. It's a 16-hectare farm founded in 1850 by Carlos Durán. Located amongst the ruins, tiendas, and restaurants of downtown La Antigua, Guatemala, the main cultivar found on this farm is 100 to 135-year-old Bourbon varietals.
We were amazed by the coffee produced here, and this year's crop is sure to delight any coffee lover. We found it to be rich in flavors of milk chocolate with a hint of silky citrus. It's the perfect way to start your morning routine.
